Matt : "Black holes and revelations -- they're the two areas of songwriting for me that make up the majority of this album. A revelation about yourself, something personal, something genuine of an everyday nature that maybe people can relate to. Then the black holes are these songs that are from the more... unknown regions of the imagination."

-Dead Star
-Butterflies & Hurricanes
-Stockholm Syndrome
-Time Is Running Out (USA Version)
-Supermassive Black Hole (Alternative Live Version).

What do you think the future holds for Muse? Do you want to play music forever?
This new album feels like it could be the middle of the band's career. I don't know i it's right to say that, but it kind of feels like a turning point. A few things have been hinted at on this album, like there could be dips into other genres and other experimental waves. It looks like the future is pretty open, and it will be interesting to see where we go from here.

There's plenty of touring coming up for you guys, too. Is it exciting?
It's great. I'm really looking forward to it. There's a mixture of work and play when you're on the road. It's nice to get a chance to hang with people that listen to your music.

Kerrang :
While there were some great performances on the main stage over the course of the day, MUSE (KKKKK) put in a performance that not only steals the weekend but is likely to be talked about for years to come. Aided by a stage set-up that combines U2's multi-screened Zoo TV extravaganza with the trippy imagery of Tool, the likes of 'Supermassive Black Hole', 'Hysteria' and a particularly outstanding 'Starlight" are enhanced to gargatuan magnitude.
Matt Bellamy is the ultimate showman throughout, whether it be crooning at the piano for 'Feeling Good' or wailing on his knees at the climax of set-closer 'Take A Bow'. Tonight's set was not only worthy of headline status, it was the sound of the world's most in-form band at the very top of their game.
